Fueled by powerful, high-energy rhythms and hypnotic melodies played on traditional and contemporary instruments, Pick Up Sticks delivers an upbeat message of cross-cultural joy and understanding.

The band's vital enthusiasm goes beyond performance. We also donate to African relief efforts, participate in workshops, and make school presentations.

We perform at music festivals, private parties, night clubs, fundraisers, and schools. For private parties we can even teach you to play the marimbas, too!
